A miniature book measuring just 5 millimeters (0.2 inches) on each side amazed auctioneers during an auction in Brussels, Belgium.

This tiny piece of historic literature contained the Catholic Lord’s Prayer in multiple languages and was expected to sell for up to $1,700.

But even though the book was small, the final price was anything but—it sold for nearly three times the expected amount.

According to Global Times, the book was published by the Gutenberg Museum in Mainz, Germany, in 1952. Back then, it was part of a post-war fundraising project to help finance the reconstruction of the museum after World War II.

The tiny book features the Lord’s Prayer printed in seven languages: Dutch, English, American English, French, German, Spanish, and Swedish.

Despite its size, the book's history and rarity drove up the bidding. According to Henri Godts, the auctioneer at Arenberg Auctions, the text is so tiny that it requires a strong magnifying glass to read.

The miniature marvel had been expected to fetch around $1,700, but a high bid of $3,949.61, combined with additional costs, brought the final price to $4,739.11.
