While many motorists are happy with their cars, a recent study has brought attention to those electric car owners who are less satisfied.
The study was conducted by the German research firm UScale.
It surveyed nearly 5,000 electric car owners in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland between May and July this year.
The survey covered a range of topics, from charging capacity and software issues to range, consumption, and overall car quality.
Owners were also asked if they would recommend their electric car to others.
At the top of the satisfaction scale, Tesla owners appear to be the most content, with high recommendations for their vehicles.
Porsche and BMW also ranked highly, closely following Tesla in customer satisfaction.
The study revealed that drivers of electric vehicles from the Stellantis group, particularly Opel, Citroën, and Peugeot, are the most dissatisfied.
A striking 62 percent of electric Peugeot owners said they would not recommend their cars to others. This figure was 59 percent for Citroën owners and 54 percent for Opel owners, placing these brands at the bottom of the satisfaction scale.
Brands like BYD, Ford, and Skoda found themselves in the middle of the satisfaction spectrum, neither topping the charts nor sinking to the lowest ranks.
