On July 29, Russian military forces launched a series of shelling attacks across 14 settlements in the Kherson region, resulting in injuries to eight residents.
Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration (OVA), reported the incidents on Telegram.
The settlements affected by the shelling include Antonivka, Komyshany, Chornobayivka, Prydniprovske, Kizomys, Bilozerka, Veletenske, Romashkovo, Berislav, Lviv, Tyaginka, Novotyaginka, Shlyakhove, Zmiivka, and the city of Kherson.
These areas were subjected to both artillery fire and airstrikes.
Damage to Infrastructure
The attacks targeted critical infrastructure, including port facilities and residential areas. Damage was reported to a multi-story building, 24 private houses, and gas pipelines, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the region.
Prokudin confirmed that eight people were injured due to the shelling. The extent of their injuries and the specific locations of the casualties were not detailed in the report.
The Kherson region has been a focal point of intense conflict since the beginning of the Russian invasion.
