Ritter pointed out the reason for Trump's inaction, stating, "Putin wouldn't answer the call. This is not 2017."

According to Ritter, Trump was not always honest in his intentions towards the Kremlin and often misled Russia during his presidency. Hence, Putin is likely uninterested in the opinions of the West and America in particular.
Ritter emphasized that Russia has its own goals and is determined to pursue them to the end, especially now that it has gained a significant advantage in the conflict.
"Russia has won this conflict," Ritter added.
This development comes amid a statement by the head of NATO's Military Committee about the alliance's plans to prepare for war with Russia.
