The Kremlin has expressed strong disapproval of recent comments made by U.S. President Joe Biden, in which he likened Russian President Vladimir Putin to a "tyrant" and compared Russia to Hamas.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov criticized Biden's tone, stating that it was unacceptable for the Russian Federation and its president.
"Such rhetoric is hardly suitable for responsible heads of state, and such rhetoric can hardly be acceptable for us; we do not accept such a tone towards the Russian Federation and towards our president" Peskov stated according to Reuters.
During a national address from the Oval Office, Biden emphasized the need for the United States to support Israel and Ukraine against threats from Russia and Hamas. He stated,
"We cannot and will not let terrorists like Hamas and tyrants like Putin win. I refuse to let that happen."
While Dmitry Peskov is lashing out at Joe Biden, the same could not be said for Russian President Vladimir Putin recently. He, in fact, had rare praise for the 'West.'
