During the night of October 30, Ukrainian defense forces successfully intercepted and destroyed 33 enemy drones, with 25 others reportedly lost in location.

This update was shared by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.

According to the report, starting from 8:00 p.m. on October 29, the enemy launched attacks on private areas in Sumy Oblast using an unidentified missile from Russia’s Belgorod region.

Additionally, the enemy deployed 62 Shahed-type UAVs and other unidentified drones from the directions of Orel and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia.

Russia's tactical aviation also conducted strikes with guided aerial bombs targeting frontline areas in Sumy, Kharkiv, and Donetsk.

Ukrainian air defense forces, including anti-aircraft missile units, aviation, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups, actively engaged to counter the aerial assault.

"As of 07:00, the downing of 33 enemy UAVs in the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Khmelnytskyi, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Poltava regions has been confirmed. 25 drones remain unaccounted for. Further updates are ongoing," the report states.

Notably, during the night attack on Kyiv, debris from a downed drone struck a high-rise building, igniting fires on three floors. As of the latest reports, nine people have been injured.
