In a night drone attack on May 21, five people in Kharkiv were injured, according to a report from the State Service for Emergency Situations on Telegram. Russian forces targeted the city with drones, causing extensive damage to residential buildings, outbuildings, and vehicles.
Fires broke out in three different areas of the city, affecting two residential buildings, a garage, and a minibus. The total area affected by the fires was approximately 200 square meters.
Earlier on the same day, a 53-year-old man was injured in a separate incident when a Russian missile struck a transport infrastructure facility in Kharkiv. This latest drone attack adds to the ongoing toll of violence in the region.
Authorities continue to assess the full extent of the damage and provide assistance to those affected by these attacks.
