Russian forces launched an attack on Kharkiv, a densely populated district, using two guided air bombs, causing structural damage and injuring civilians.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported the incident on Telegram, detailing the destruction caused by the strike.
According to Mayor Terekhov, one of the bombs destroyed three garages and damaged several others, while the second bomb landed in an open area. Both strikes occurred in densely populated regions of the city, heightening the risk to civilian lives.
Oleg Sinegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Oblast Administration (OVA), provided further details on Facebook, stating that the attack resulted in two injuries.
The victims, a 52-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman, suffered acute stress reactions. Fortunately, both received immediate medical assistance on site.
The attack occurred early in the morning at around 06:00 on May 14, during an air raid warning, as reported by Ukrinform. The city has been on high alert, and the local authorities continue to assess the situation and provide updates as necessary.
