Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 83 Ukrainian drones overnight across nine regions, the Russian Defense Ministry announced in an article in Interfax.

According to the ministry, 37 UAVs were shot down over Bryansk, while 12 were intercepted over Kursk and Lipetsk. Nine drones were destroyed in Tver, and three each in Belgorod, Kaluga, Smolensk, and Voronezh. A single UAV was taken down over Rostov.

While no mass casualties were reported, debris from one of the downed drones injured an employee at a Lipetsk aeration station, according to Lipetsk Region Governor Igor Artamonov. He stated that the victim, who suffered shrapnel wounds, was transported to the hospital and is receiving necessary medical care.

In addition to the injury, parts of Lipetsk experienced temporary power outages, though authorities confirmed that power has since been restored.
