On Monday, reader-reporter Ali stumbled upon a sign in the hardware store, renowned for its humorous advertisements. The sign amused many Viennese.
"Important info for all men: For those who believe Valentine's Day isn't important—moving boxes are available in aisle 17," the message from the construction supplies store announced.
The staff at the hardware store positioned the sign alongside several flower pots, possibly hinting that customers might want to consider buying flowers instead of boxes.
It's uncertain how many men were spared from domestic turmoil thanks to this Valentine's Day nudge.
However, what's undeniable is that the store's campaign sparked a great deal of laughter.
