A few days ago, it was revealed that 40-year-old single mother of three, Yekaterina Duntsova, would not be allowed to run in the Russian presidential election due to errors in the submitted documents. However, Putin now has a new female opponent for the upcoming presidential election: a 39-year-old blogger.

Rada Russkikh, a blogger from Ekaterinburg, announced in mid-December her decision to run for the presidency of Russia, with the elections scheduled for March 2024. She managed to gather signatures for her initiative group on her second attempt, just before the deadline on December 27, and now as an independent candidate, she needs to collect at least 300,000 more. This is reported by Ura News.

Background and Early Life

Russkikh, 39, was born in Ekaterinburg in a modest, incomplete family not connected to the fashion industry. She has been estranged from her family members, including her mother, aunt, and cousin. Russkikh earned her first money at the age of 11 and has been continuously working since then. After school, she enrolled in the Ural State Architectural Academy to study "Clothing Designer."

Appearance and Personal Life

Russkikh has openly talked about undergoing plastic surgeries and her love for tattoos. She is not in an official marriage and does not have children. She keeps her personal life private but assures that even if she gets married, she would not change her surname.

Career Path

During her university years, Russkikh worked as a makeup artist and later joined two glossy magazines - Life and Beauty and Fashion Week.

She also interned with designers Valentin Yudashkin and Igor Chapurin. At 24, Russkikh joined a company that produced outfits and accessories in China, living between two countries for seven years. She also founded the cosmetic brand Gedonist.cosmetics and the Wave Diagnostic Center in St. Petersburg, where esotericism, magic, and spiritual practices are used in treating diseases.

Political Aspirations

In a conversation with the journalist from "Moskvichka," Russkikh explained why she wants to be the president of Russia. She has been involved in active civil initiatives, particularly in animal protection and eco-agenda.

Russkikh sympathizes with the "New People" party but does not hold a party card and is unsure if she wants one. She adheres to a liberal position, emphasizing that citizens should be in horizontal relations with the government and act more maturely, rather than waiting for endless help and rescue from the state.
