Russian military forces have conducted intense shelling across 22 settlements in the Kherson region within a single day, causing significant damage.
Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, shared this distressing update via Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.
The affected settlements include Berehove, Yantarne, Mykhailivka, Tomarine, Zmiivka, Antonivka, Beryslav, Zolota Balka, Lviv, Tyaginka, Ivanivka, Kizomys, Dniprovske, Tokarivka, Inzhenerne, Veletenske, Sadove, Mykilske, Prydniprovske, Poniativka, Olhivka, and Kherson.
These communities suffered from targeted attacks on residential areas. Notably, a multi-story building and two private residences were damaged, along with a hangar and a utility building.
Fortunately, these aggressive actions did not result in any civilian casualties or fatalities this time.
This shelling is part of a broader pattern of attacks by Russian forces in the region.
According to further reports by Ukrinform, Russian troops carried out five missile and 63 air strikes, along with 72 attacks from rocket salvo systems, targeting both the Defense Forces and civilian areas across Ukraine in the same period.
