Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has promised an increase in Ukrainian-produced weapons in 2024. In his New Year's speech on Sunday, he addressed the ongoing war against Russia and pledged that at least one million Ukrainian drones will be built in the coming year.

"Next year, the enemy will experience Ukrainian fury," said Volodymyr Zelenskyj during his speech.

He also mentioned that F-16 jets, donated to Ukraine by several Western countries, will play a role in the conflict.

"Our pilots are already mastering F-16 jets, and we will definitely see them in our skies, showing our enemies what our anger is about," Zelensky stated.

This message comes as Ukraine enters its third year under Russian occupation, with speculation about dwindling international support for the country in some areas.

Ukraine has just received its – for now – last package of military aid from the USA. Members of the Republican Party in the USA have expressed skepticism about sending billions more to the country, doubting its effectiveness on the battlefield.

The conflict between the two sides has escalated in recent days.

According to BBC, at least 39 were killed in Ukraine on Friday after Russia conducted missile strikes in several areas. On Saturday, Ukraine reportedly attacked Russia, killing 24 and injuring more than 100, as reported by Russian authorities.
