On Wednesday afternoon, Russian soldiers attacked the Ukrainian city of Kherson, shelling the area.
This most recent attack left two of the city's residents with serious injuries, as reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration on Telegram.

"Russian troops fired on Kherson. Two townspeople who were in their yard were injured in the enemy strike," stated the administration.
According to their report, one of the victims was a 58-year-old man who suffered a contusion, torso injuries, arm and leg injuries, as well as explosive and craniocerebral injuries. The other victim was an 85-year-old woman, who sustained a contusion, forearm injuries, explosive and craniocerebral injuries, as well as traumatic amputation of her lower legs.
Both victims were transported to the hospital for medical treatment.
This attack follows a deadly day in the Kherson region where Russian troops killed one person and injured 15 others, according to Ukrinform.
