The Kremlin has declined to comment on a possible attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on a Russian ship in the Black Sea, stating that this issue falls under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defense (MoD).

This was announced by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of Russian President Vladimir Putin, with his words reported by RIA Novosti.

According to Peskov, any comments regarding the special military operation are the prerogative of the defense department.

"I suggest you refer to the statements of our military colleagues. I cannot say anything about this matter," stated the Kremlin representative.

Ukrainian media had reported that the Russian large landing ship "Caesar Kunikov" was allegedly attacked by surface drones.

There have been no official comments from the Russian MoD regarding the attack.
