Ukraine faced a barrage of attacks on Friday morning, with massive strikes reported in several regions including Kyiv, Kharkiv, the Lviv region, and eastern Dnipro.
This series of attacks, as reported by various news agencies including Reuters and Ritzau, marks a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict.
According to a spokesperson from the Ukrainian air defense, the attacks involved a combination of drones, hypersonic missiles, and cruise missiles. In Kyiv, the air defense forces are working intensively, as stated by Kyiv's Mayor, Vitalij Klitschko, on Telegram.
Yaroslav Trofimov, the Chief Correspondent for The Wall Street Journal, shared a video on X, purportedly showing an attack in Kyiv.
He described it as one of the worst barrages of attacks since the beginning of the war.
