During a recent meeting in Kyiv, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken the security treaty and the expansion of international involvement in the upcoming Peace Summit in Switzerland.
President Zelensky emphasized the significance of security guarantees and the critical nature of the Peace Summit.
"Of course, I want to discuss security guarantees, how our teams are working on them, and the Peace Summit, which is undeniably important to us. We need the involvement of more than just the United States. We need President Biden and your help to attract as many countries as possible to this summit," Zelensky expressed during the meeting.
The meeting came as Secretary Blinken visited Kyiv, a trip intended to reaffirm the U.S.'s solidarity with Ukraine amid intense and ongoing Russian military aggression.
