In a candid interview with PBS, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi addressed the critical military needs of Ukraine, detailing a specific list of weapons required to potentially change the war's trajectory.
This list has been distributed among Ukraine’s global allies.
A Strategic Outline for Victory
President Zelenskyi explained that the weaponry needed falls into distinct categories: those necessary for ground advances, air defense, and tactical tools to facilitate troop movements.
“There are specific weapons to advance, there are specific weapons to protect the sky, there are means to unlock the sky for people to advance. All partners have this plan. They have on their hands (a list - ed.) what we really need technically," the President stated during the interview.
"We are fighting a big army," Zelenskyi emphasized.
"Yes, they do not spare people, they do not train them, they are not as trained as our boys, but there are a large number of them. They have an unlimited number of people and a large number of shells. This is not their production. This is the production of Iran. They gave them 300-350 Shaheds per month. And every month they applied such amount to us."
Allies’ Role in Ukraine’s Defense Strategy
The conversation also touched upon the recent meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief on April 15, where Ukraine’s defense strategies and the protection of critical infrastructure were deliberated.
