In a tragic incident in St. Petersburg, a 12-year-old girl's heart stopped during a dental appointment at the "Dunay" clinic in the Krasnoselsky district.

Preliminary information suggests that the young girl had a severe reaction to anesthesia, which led to her condition worsening. Despite efforts, she could not be saved.
The Telegram channel Shot reported that the police are currently working at the clinic. It is known that the fifth-grade student was at the dental appointment with her father.
In a development to the story, the head of the "Dunay" dentistry on Tambasova Street, contacted by journalists from the Telegram channel "Mash na Moyke," stated that the medical institution does not treat children and that on December 29, the dentistry was closed for a holiday.
Additionally, the administration of the Krasnoselsky district of St. Petersburg denies the information about the incident.
This incident follows a similar case in September 2022 in the Altai Territory, where an 11-year-old boy developed a high fever, leg paralysis, and blue-purple spots on his body after visiting a dentist. The child was hospitalized and placed in intensive care, where he fell into a coma but never regained consciousness.
