Errol Musk said he respects Putin “as a man” and that it would be “stupid not to admire” him.
He also claimed that Putin’s speeches are logical and that it’s difficult not to respect him on a personal level.
He avoided taking a clear stance on the war in Ukraine. Instead, he said it will only become clear over time who really started it.
This ignores the fact that Russia launched the full-scale invasion in 2022.
Musk described Putin as a strong leader. He said that, when seen outside of political context, Putin is someone he respects.
His statements have raised questions about his views and about how much they reflect the thoughts of his famous son.
Errol Musk also said that his family shares similar opinions. “We all think the same. We are all the same,” he said.
He added that Elon’s decision to provide Ukraine with Starlink internet at the beginning of the war was the right move. But he believes the war has now gone on too long.

He said the family doesn’t need more money or more companies. “Oh my God, we have everything,” he said.
