In Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, high waves are approaching. Residents have been informed of a possible tsunami following a recent earthquake. The earthquake's magnitude was 7.6.

"The coast is being approached by very high waves. Evacuate immediately," states the website. It is noted that multiple wave impacts are possible, with wave heights reaching up to five meters. The meteorological agency also recommends residents avoid approaching river mouths and coastlines that may overflow.
The tsunami was caused by an earthquake in Ishikawa Prefecture. Its magnitude was 7.6, with the intensity of the tremors recorded at 7 points.
Previously, an earthquake with a magnitude ranging from 5.0 to 7.7 was recorded in the Philippines.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) noted that a tsunami is expected thereafter.
Seismologists suggested that the wave height could be life-threatening. Later, due to this earthquake, a tsunami threat was announced in Japan.
