A large-scale road accident in Turkey involving a passenger bus has left 10 people dead and 39 others injured. The bus, which was en route from Diyarbakır to Istanbul, collided with two cars and a truck in the Yenice Mahallesi district of Tarsus, located in Mersin province.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkey, Ali Yerlikaya, announced the details of the accident on X (Twitter), stating that the collision occurred on a highway in the Yenice Mahallesi district.
The severity of the crash resulted in casualties, with emergency services responding promptly to the scene.
Minister Yerlikaya expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
The Turkish authorities have launched an investigation into the accident to determine the cause and prevent future occurrences.
