Yummy Foods has issued a recall for its non-dairy Yummy Swirly Ices line after discovering that the products may contain traces of milk, posing a serious risk for individuals with milk allergies or sensitivities.

The recall affects all flavors and varieties of the Swirly Ices line, including products distributed across retail supermarkets in several states, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The recall was triggered after a consumer with a milk allergy reported discomfort after consuming one of the Swirly Ices products.

While the source of the contamination is still under investigation, Yummy Foods has taken immediate action to prevent further risk to consumers.

The products in question are packaged in boxes with the Yummy logo and are primarily sold in the freezer aisles of independent kosher supermarkets in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Ohio, Chicago, Florida, and California.

The affected products include Swirly Tropical Melon, Swirly Berry Blast, Swirly Tropical Tornado, Swirly Churning Cherry, and the Swirly Variety Pack.

All lot numbers and expiration dates are included in the recall, specifically those with lot numbers 68/2 and 69/1 and expiration dates of May 28, 2026, and May 30, 2026.

Consumers who have purchased any of the Yummy Swirly Ices are advised not to consume them if they have a milk allergy or sensitivity.

The products can be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund.
