She has just been awarded a massive settlement of over half a billion kroner.
And it is the former U.S. President, Donald Trump, who must pay.
Author E. Jean Carroll has now announced how some of the money will be used.
This was reported by the BBC.
"I would like to give the money to something Trump hates. If it will cause him pain to see me give the money to certain things, that's my intention," says E. Jean Carroll.
Donald Trump is required to pay $83.3 million in damages for defamation to author E. Jean Carroll.
The lawsuit stems from Trump's denial that he raped Carroll in a dressing room at the Bergdorf Goodman department store in New York City in the mid-1990s.
Carroll went public with the accusation in 2019. Trump, who was then the President of the USA, subsequently accused the author of fabricating the rape story to boost sales of a memoir.
According to Carroll, this claim was defamatory, and on Friday, a court in New York supported her in this.
Carroll gives an example of what some of the money could be used for.
"It could be to set up a fund for women who have been sexually assaulted by Donald Trump."
On his own social media, Truth Social, Trump has written that he will appeal the court's decision.
"Absolutely ridiculous! I completely disagree with the decision and will appeal this entire Biden-directed witch hunt focusing on me and the Republican Party."
