Elon Musk has warned that a Trump loss in 2024 could signal the end of "real elections" in the U.S.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has once again made headlines with his predictions for the upcoming U.S. presidential election.

Musk claims that if former President Donald Trump loses the 2024 election, there will never be another "real election" in the United States.

Musk shared his concerns on his social media platform X (formerly Twitter), stating that Democratic leaders aim to legalize millions of undocumented immigrants, which he believes would shift the balance of future elections.

“The publicly stated goal of almost all Democratic leaders is to legalize the roughly 15 million illegal immigrants as soon as possible, and bring in tens of millions more,” Musk wrote, as cited by RBC.

He suggested that this move would turn swing states into Democratic strongholds, similar to California after the 1986 amnesty.

According to Musk, this could lead to a one-party system in the U.S., making the 2024 election the "last real one" if Trump loses.

The U.S. presidential election is set for November.

In recent months, Trump has expressed interest in bringing Musk onto his team, even mentioning the possibility of the tech mogul serving as an advisor on artificial intelligence. Musk, while flattered, noted that his commitments to Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, and X would make full-time government service impractical.

Polls show a tight race, with Democratic nominee Kamala Harris slightly ahead of Trump in some surveys. However, recent data from The New York Times/Siena College poll places Trump just one percentage point ahead.
