British Foreign Minister David Lammy has reaffirmed that the West will not be intimidated by Russian President Vladimir Putin's warnings of an all-out war with NATO.

In a statement, Lammy emphasized that the UK and its allies will not be "bullied by Putin's shameless grandstanding" and will continue to support Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.

Lammy highlighted that, despite Putin's repeated warnings, the West has consistently supplied military aid to Ukraine, including tanks and missiles.

“Putin said, 'Don’t send tanks.' We sent them. Putin said, 'Don’t send missiles.' We sent them,” Lammy remarked, adding: “There’s been a lot of rhetoric from Putin, but we cannot be swayed by an imperialist fascist who seeks to invade countries at will.”

“Putin threatens to use nuclear weapons every few months. Now, he must end his aggression and leave Ukraine,” Lammy concluded during an interview on Sky News.

Lammy strongly condemned Putin’s frequent references to nuclear weapons, calling such threats "totally unacceptable."

He stated that the UK and its allies are united in their refusal to be intimidated, and Putin's aggressive actions will not sway their resolve to assist Ukraine.

Looking ahead, Lammy confirmed that discussions on long-range missiles will take place at the upcoming UN General Assembly. Ukraine has been vocal in its calls for further military support, and Natalia Galibarenko, Ukraine’s head of mission to NATO, emphasized Kyiv’s determination to continue advocating for these weapons.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed that he presented a detailed vision to US and UK officials on September 12 regarding the removal of restrictions on long-range strikes.
