Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently had a phone call with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to discuss the United Kingdom's largest military support package for Ukraine, totaling half a billion pounds.
Zelenskyy announced the call on his Telegram channel, expressing gratitude for the UK's decisive support.
The Ukrainian president noted that everything included in the military support package is "really needed by Ukraine on the battlefield."
"I'm grateful to Great Britain and personally to the Prime Minister for showing such decisive support, as well as for the readiness to further develop defense cooperation, especially with an emphasis on maritime and long-range capabilities," Zelenskyy stated.

Beyond the defense support package, Zelenskyy and Sunak also discussed creating an effective model for the confiscation of Russian assets.
Furthermore, they addressed the upcoming Peace Summit in Switzerland and the European Political Community summit in Great Britain.
Rishi Sunak's visit to Poland is expected to be significant, where he will announce the largest package of military aid for Ukraine. Following his visit to Poland, Sunak will meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin to discuss additional support and cooperation for Ukraine.
