Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has confirmed that he will visit Saudi Arabia next week to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and hold discussions with American partners.

In his announcement on March 6, Zelenskyy stressed that Ukraine is committed to constructive diplomacy in pursuit of a swift and lasting peace.

“Next Monday, I am scheduled to visit Saudi Arabia to meet with the Crown Prince. After that, my team will remain in Saudi Arabia to work with American partners. Ukraine is most interested in peace,” Zelenskyy stated on Telegram.

The visit comes as Ukraine seeks to restart stalled negotiations with the United States amid shifting diplomatic dynamics.

Zelenskyy’s trip follows his recent address to the European Council, where he confirmed that talks with the U.S. have been revived. He expressed optimism about an upcoming "productive meeting" in the coming week.

“As we have already told [U.S. President] Trump, Ukraine is working and will continue to work exclusively constructively for a fast and reliable peace,” Zelenskyy added.
