Hanaë, a 14-year-old from Namur, Belgium, has a busy life. When she's not making TikToks in her room or dancing at the AD Move center, she's honing her vocal skills at the Rock School.
She has been taking singing lessons with her teacher Sylvie for two years now. For her blind audition on The Voice Kids, Hanaë chose to perform the iconic Queen song "Bohemian Rhapsody," a challenging piece that she managed to master effortlessly.
A risky yet rewarding choice
Taking on a Queen song is no small feat, but Hanaë's gamble paid off. She impressed three out of the four coaches: Matthew Irons, Black M, and Typh Barrow.
To decide which coach she would go with, Hanaë employed an unusual technique: the "Am stram gram" method. In the end, Black M was the lucky chosen one.
The Power of Youthful Audacity
Hanaë's audacious choice of song and her remarkable execution demonstrate the incredible talent that young artists can bring to the table. Her performance not only wowed the judges but also set a high bar for the competition.
However, the choice was not entirely risk-free for the young girl, who suddenly 'cracked' when the first judge gave her a 'yes'.
