An incredible rally between French table tennis players Felix Lebrun and Simon Gauzy has captured the attention of fans online, with many calling it a moment that will go down in table tennis history.

The rally took place during the WTT Champions Frankfurt 2023 table tennis tournament, held from October 29 to November 5. Representing France in the first round were 17-year-old Felix Lebrun and 29-year-old Simon Gauzy.

The match was already exciting, but the intensity ramped up towards the end of the second set. With Lebrun leading 10:7, Gauzy served, and the unforgettable rally began.

Lebrun quickly took control, launching a powerful attack that forced Gauzy to defend from several yards behind the table. Despite Lebrun's strong strikes, Gauzy amazed the crowd with his ability to return shots that seemed impossible to reach.

The rally lasted nearly 20 seconds, with Lebrun continuing to attack and Gauzy skillfully defending each shot. In a bid to catch his opponent off guard, Lebrun shortened his return, but the experienced Gauzy was ready and returned the ball to Lebrun's side of the table.

Lebrun managed to handle Gauzy's return, but he was caught off guard by Gauzy's subsequent attack. Lebrun hit the net, and Gauzy, despite losing his balance and falling to the floor, was met with a roar of approval from the audience.

Although Gauzy's incredible defense won him the admiration of the spectators, it wasn't enough to change the outcome of the set. Lebrun won the next point and the set, ultimately defeating his more experienced compatriot with a score of 3:2 in sets.
