Wars are measured not just by battles won or lost but by the toll they take every single day.
On Ukraine’s frontlines, that toll is relentless. Soldiers face unending barrages, constant drone attacks, and the deafening sounds of artillery.
It’s not just a fight for land — it’s a battle to endure.
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces have been pushed to their limits. Russian troops launched 292 assaults across the front, roughly one every five minutes.
The fighting raged in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson, areas already scarred by months of war, according to Digi24.
Ukraine Haven't Been Idle
Reports from Ukraine’s General Staff paint a grim picture. Russian forces fired more than 5,000 artillery shells, launched 158 salvos of Katyusha rockets, and deployed over 3,000 kamikaze drones in a single day.
In addition, they carried out 61 airstrikes using 99 precision-guided bombs. Missiles struck Ukrainian positions twice, though officials haven’t yet detailed the damage or casualties.
The city of Pokrovsk in Donetsk has seen some of the most intense fighting. Here, Ukrainian defenders are desperately holding their ground. In just 24 hours, they managed to repel 52 Russian attacks.
Pokrovsk, a key point on the battlefield, remains hotly contested as Ukraine fights to avoid losing more territory in the region.
Ukraine’s forces, while vastly outgunned, haven’t been idle.
They executed 35 air and artillery missions targeting Russian positions. Every counterattack counts, especially as Russian tactics increasingly focus on overwhelming Ukrainian defenses through sheer numbers and firepower.
For those on the frontlines, the stakes couldn’t be higher. The constant onslaught tests their resilience and determination, with no end in sight. The battle isn’t just about territory—it’s about surviving another day.
