The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has officially authorized the BoarTAC universal unmanned transporter for use in the country’s Armed Forces.

The BoarTAC, developed with insights from Ukrainian combat experience, is a ground robotic system designed to perform a variety of tasks on the battlefield. The transporter features a low silhouette, operates quietly, and is equipped with protections against bullets and debris, making it an ideal tool for challenging environments.

One of the key advantages of the BoarTAC is its versatility.

It can be remotely operated to deliver ammunition, supplies, and even evacuate the wounded from combat zones. With the capability to be equipped with special mounts, the BoarTAC can also carry out tasks such as mine clearance or setting up minefields.

Additionally, the transporter has the potential to serve as a mobile weapons platform.

The system can integrate remotely controlled combat modules armed with grenade launchers or machine guns, or even function as a kamikaze drone, adding to its flexibility on the battlefield.

“Thanks to its wide tracks, large tread, and a protective bumper, the robot can navigate off-road terrain, ditches, and shallow water obstacles,” the press statement reads.

The Ukrainian-made transporter can also carry about 200 kg of cargo or pull a trailer of similar weight.

In early August, the Ministry of Defense also codified and authorized the use of the Dzhura armored vehicle for tactical missions in the Armed Forces.

The Ukrainian company RPO Practika developed the armored vehicle based on the Land Cruiser 70 SUV chassis. It is designed to perform tactical tasks and is characterized by its relatively low weight and compact dimensions, which allow it to operate as stealthily as possible.
