Former President and current White House candidate Donald Trump has announced the launch of his newest business venture: Trump Watches.

Limited to Just 147 Units

In a video shared on social media, Trump promoted the limited-edition timepieces just 40 days before the upcoming election. Describing the watches as great Christmas gifts, he directed supporters to a link to purchase them, according to Digi24

The watches retail for $499, while a more exclusive series, called Tourbillon, is priced at $100,000 per piece.

Limited to just 147 units, the Tourbillon watches feature 200 grams (7.05 oz) of 18-carat gold and 122 diamonds, making them a luxurious collector’s item.

"These watches are truly special – you’ll love them," Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social.

A Gold-Plated Model

However, a disclaimer on the product’s website reveals that neither Trump nor his company had a hand in designing or manufacturing the watches. Instead, a third-party company called TheBestWatchesOnEarth LLC has licensed Trump's name for the product line.

This approach mirrors many of Trump's past business ventures, in which he licenses his name for various products and services.

For Trump supporters with more modest budgets, there’s a less expensive option — a gold-plated model available for $799.

Since re-entering politics two years ago, Trump has earned millions through licensing deals tied to his name and image. In 2022 alone, he made $7.2 million from a licensing agreement with NFT INT, LLC, a company that sells Trump-themed non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Trump has also ventured into other markets, including launching a line of golden sneakers and even Trump-themed Bibles. This week, he introduced Trump Coins — a 1 oz (28.35 g), 99.9% silver coin featuring his portrait and his signature on the back.

Like the watches, the coins are sold under a licensing deal. Trump promoted the new coins through a video message filmed at his Mar-a-Lago residence.
