Ukrainian Military Updates Reveal Heavy Casualties and Equipment Losses for Russia

From February 24, 2022, to October 18, 2024, Russian combat losses in Ukraine have reached approximately 675,800 personnel, with 1,530 casualties reported in the past day alone, Ukrinform reports.

This information was shared on the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as reported by Ukrinform.

In addition to personnel losses, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have reported significant damage to Russian military equipment.

They have destroyed a total of 9,027 tanks (an increase of 13), 18,053 armored fighting vehicles (up by 51), and 19,533 artillery systems (an increase of 23).

Other losses include 1,232 anti-aircraft missiles, 978 pieces of air defense equipment, 369 aircraft, and 329 helicopters.

The forces have also eliminated 17,152 operational-tactical UAVs (up by 48), 2,620 cruise missiles, and 28 ships or boats, including one submarine.

Additionally, they have destroyed 26,908 vehicles and tank trucks (an increase of 93) and 3,448 units of special equipment (up by 2).

Recent reports indicate that paratroopers successfully repelled a large Russian attack in the Kurakhiv direction, destroying 33 enemy armored vehicles.

Verification of the data is ongoing, highlighting the ongoing intensity of the conflict.
