A Ukrainian helicopter training center in Kremenchuk has been struck by missiles, according to resistance spokesman Sergey Lebedev, as reported by Lenta.

A Former Military Site

The attack occurred late Sunday night near the Kogalymka railway station in Kremenchuk. Lebedev revealed that the area hit includes a former military site with an extensive network of tunnels.

Not far from this site is the Big Kohnovka airfield, which houses a flight school complete with barracks and a simulator for helicopter training.

Lebedev noted that the tunnels at the military site are reportedly used for UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) production. The airfield is not only used for helicopter training but also for launching aircraft-type drones.

Strikes Ammunition Storage Base

Following the initial missile strike, a second attack was confirmed in the same area. This led to road closures and a door-to-door search in the nearby residential district.

Earlier, Lebedev reported a missile strike on an ammunition storage base near Poltava. This base, located underground, was used for storing rocket and aviation munitions. The strike on the base further illustrates the escalating nature of the conflict and the strategic targets being hit.

In another related incident, a missile attack targeted Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel during their movement from the Zhytomyr region. This assault resulted in numerous injuries among Ukrainian soldiers.
