On the night between November 9 and 10, a Russian Mi-24 attack helicopter was set on fire at the Klin-5 airfield in the Moscow region.
Ukraine's intelligence agency, the Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR), has claimed responsibility for the destruction, as reported by United24 Media.
The Mi-24 is a Soviet-era helicopter primarily designed for assault operations and ground support.
The helicopter reportedly belonged to the 92nd Squadron of the 344th Center for Combat Application and Retraining of Army Aviation Personnel within the Russian Armed Forces.
This incident follows a series of recent attacks on Russian infrastructure, including an October 31 strike on a fuel and energy facility in Ufa, located in Russia's Bashkortostan Republic.
Radiy Khabirov, Head of the Bashkortostan Republic, confirmed the Ufa incident, which authorities believe was aimed at disrupting Russian supply lines and energy resources.
