Ukraine launched a significant drone attack overnight, targeting multiple Russian regions, including Rostov, Kursk, and Oryol.

Damage to Warehouses and Buildings

According to URA the assault involved over 75 drones and resulted in damage to several warehouse facilities and a residential building, although no casualties among civilians have been reported.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the majority of the drones were intercepted over the Rostov and Oryol regions. A total of 36 drones were downed over Rostov alone. Other affected areas included Kursk, Belgorod, and Bryansk.

The Russian military’s countermeasures were able to neutralize most of the incoming drones, but some managed to cause structural damage, particularly in a residential neighborhood in Bolkhovsky, Oryol.

In retaliation, Russian forces also conducted drone strikes against Ukrainian territories. Ukrainian locations such as Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Odessa, Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, and Poltava were targeted. These attacks aimed to damage Ukrainian military positions and infrastructure.

Fighting Continues

On the ground, fighting continues in various fronts. In the Kharkiv region, Russian troops are engaged in intense combat near Volchansk and Starytsia, while in the Severodonetsk area, Russian forces have made gains around the outskirts of Pereizdne.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian soldiers have advanced north-east of Zhelannoye and Ivanovka, capturing an American Bradley fighting vehicle. Meanwhile, in Artemivsk, Ukrainian forces are still holding their ground despite mounting challenges.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, Russian troops have reportedly destroyed two Ukrainian strongholds near Robotyne. Ukrainian forces in this area are utilizing drones and minefields to counter Russian advances.
