On November 21, Russian soldiers entered an apartment in occupied Toretsk, Donetsk region, and fired at three civilians.
The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported on Telegram that two women died at the scene. A man who was also in the apartment sustained injuries, including fractures to his shoulder and collarbone. He is now receiving medical care.
The shooting is being treated as a war crime under Part 2 of Article 438 of Ukraine’s Criminal Code. Investigators are working to uncover the full details of the attack.
Earlier, on November 10, Russian troops shot and killed a civilian woman in the village of Terny, Lyman community, also in the Donetsk region.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine, the woman was walking on a street when she was fatally shot. Authorities have opened a pre-trial investigation, citing violations of war laws and premeditated murder.
