Debris from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) fell in an open area of Kyiv’s Desnyanskyi district, sparking a fire in nearby grass and bushes, according to Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.
The incident was reported via Telegram and is still under investigation, with authorities working to confirm whether there were any casualties or structural damage.
Earlier, an air raid alert was issued in Kyiv, surrounding regions, and other parts of Ukraine due to the threat of Russian UAVs. Air defense systems were active over the capital, intercepting multiple threats.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation.
