Ukrainian FPV Drones Take Out Russian Hiding Spots in Zaporizhzhia Offensive

Trending Now

Ukrainian border guards successfully destroyed Russian firing positions in the Zaporizhzhia region using FPV (First-Person View) drones, Ukrinform reports.

The Southern Regional Office of Ukraine's State Border Guard Service shared the update via Facebook, alongside a video showing the operation.

The border guards' precise actions led to the destruction of two enemy firing positions and a Russian hideout.

According to the report, this operation is part of a series of targeted actions by Ukrainian forces in the region to disrupt Russian advances and fortifications.

This achievement comes after Ukrainian defenders in the Donetsk region near Chasov Yar repelled a Russian assault, destroying seven combat vehicles.

These operations are part of Ukraine's ongoing efforts to counter Russian military tactics and inflict damage on key Russian military assets in occupied areas.

Such strategic drone strikes have become an effective method for Ukrainian forces, offering a combination of precision and reduced risk to personnel.

The use of drones also highlights the evolving nature of modern warfare, where unmanned aerial systems (UAS) are playing an increasingly critical role on the battlefield.
