A Russian missile strike in Kyiv on the morning of November 13 destroyed the filming pavilion of the popular show MasterChef, as reported by Starlight Media.
“This is painful, unpredictable, and—as always when it comes to the Russians—criminal. But for us, the most important thing is that no people were harmed—they are our greatest value. We thank our air defense forces for this!” the MasterChef team shared on their Instagram page.

The STB channel, part of the Starlight Media group, managed to produce four new seasons of MasterChef despite the full-scale war.
In 2022, the team prepared for such challenges by adding two shelters on set and installing autonomous generators to keep filming going. Preparations for the 15th season were well underway when the attack disrupted their plans, according to the press service.
On October 13, Russia had resumed its assault on Kyiv, launching a combined missile and drone attack that ignited fires across the city after a two-month pause. That day, Russia launched over 110 drones at Ukraine, with Ukrainian air defense forces downing 46 of them.
