If you're committed to a dairy-free or vegan lifestyle, this recall could affect you.

The popular Nutrabolics Feed Me Vegan Protein and Oat bars in the chocolate coconut flavor have been urgently recalled across Canada due to undeclared milk, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).

The affected 65-gram bars have a UPC of “7 93888 65557 7,” with lot number NB050 and a best-by date of “NOV 15 2024.”

Tests revealed the presence of milk—something you definitely don’t expect in a vegan product.

While no illnesses have been reported, those with a dairy allergy or sensitivity are advised to dispose of the bars or return them to the store where they were purchased.

Symptoms of a dairy reaction can range from hives and nausea to more severe issues like difficulty breathing or even cardiac arrest. If you experience any of these symptoms after eating the bars, contact emergency services immediately.

For now, check your cupboards and keep your eyes peeled for more info.
