The 25-year-old woman, who had recently performed at a British awards show with superstar Ed Sheeran, lost her life in South London in a traffic accident.
Lousha was young, beautiful, and accelerating in her career as a dancer, model, and choreographer when her life was suddenly cut short in a horrific traffic accident.
A seemingly impaired 22-year-old driver struck dancer Lousha Liddell while she was riding on the back of a motorcycle in the Wandsworth district last Wednesday. Condolences are now pouring in for the young woman’s family and friends, and a GoFundMe campaign has been set up in her memory.
The Standard newspaper revealed the identity of one of those involved in the accident, identifying her as the 25-year-old dancer who stood on stage with Ed Sheeran at the 2022 Brit Awards, performing the hit "Bad Habits."
Lousha Liddell's close friend, Chili Sanders, wrote in the fundraising campaign for the dancer's funeral that her death has sent shockwaves through the community.
The young dancer will be remembered as a true natural talent on stage, and her death has left "a gaping void in the hearts of all who encountered her grace and creativity," her friend stated.
Additionally, Lousha Liddell appeared in campaigns for major brands like Nike and Gap. Two years ago, she began a collaboration with the shoe brand Schuh.
The 22-year-old driver of the Honda Civic, which collided with the motorcycle Liddell was on, has been arrested and charged with drug-driving, causing the serious accident.
A man in his 40s, who was also on the motorcycle with Lousha Liddell, was taken to the hospital with injuries but they were later described as non-life-threatening.
The last post on the dancer's Instagram profile shows her enjoying a concert with rap icons 50 Cent and Busta Rhymes with friends in November.
Ed Sheeran has not yet responded to the tragic death.
