During the early hours of November 21, Russian forces launched a major missile strike, deploying Tu-95 bombers, MiG-31K Kinzhal carriers, and targeting the city of Dnipro.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force on Telegram, the attack involved an intercontinental ballistic missile, a Kh-47M2 Kinzhal air-launched ballistic missile, and seven Kh-101 cruise missiles. Six of the Kh-101 missiles were intercepted and shot down.
The strikes caused significant damage in Dnipro, hitting an industrial enterprise and sparking two fires, according to Governor Serhii Lysak. A rehabilitation center for people with disabilities was also damaged, Mayor Borys Filatov reported.
No casualties have been reported in the city at this time.
In Donetsk Oblast, Russian forces attacked the village of Pershomarivka, killing one person and injuring two others, Governor Vadym Filashkin said. In Kostiantynivka, six people were injured during another attack.
In Kherson Oblast, overnight attacks on November 20 and into November 21 killed one person and injured 10 others, including a child, Governor Oleksandr Prokudin reported. A separate attack on Darivka village on the morning of November 21 killed a 62-year-old woman.
In Kharkiv Oblast, Russian strikes wounded a 64-year-old woman in the village of Vysokyi, while two men, aged 42 and 64, were injured in the town of Kupiansk, according to Governor Oleh Syniehubov.
In Sumy Oblast, a civilian was injured during Russian attacks on the Krasnopillia community, the regional military administration reported.
