Narrow Escape for Another
According to Dagens.dk, another individual, who was also relieving himself nearby, narrowly escaped being hit by the flying animal. This incident highlights the unexpected dangers that can occur in seemingly mundane situations.
Cattle Deaths on Railway Tracks
Cattle deaths due to train collisions are not uncommon in India. In 2022, over 13,000 cattle were run over by trains, marking a 24% increase from 2019. Many cattle owners in India graze their cattle on patches of grass alongside railway tracks or herd them across the tracks, increasing the risk of such accidents.
In response to the frequent trespassing by cattle, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced plans for constructing fences or boundary walls alongside tracks in prone areas, along with other measures like garbage and vegetation removal to keep cows away.
